The European fighting game community takes over the French Riviera this October. Evo France brings the biggest arcade festival on the planet back to Nice. The action runs from October 9 straight through October 11 inside the Palais des Expositions. Thousands of competitors will crowd the venue floor to test their execution under extreme pressure. Viewers looking to place wagers on their favorite bracket contenders can check the most popular online sportsbooks for real-time odds.
The physical space offers much more than just bracket runs. Attendees get the full festival experience, including massive publisher showcases, Bring Your Own Controller sections, and free-play arcade rows. Local fans and traveling international viewers will pack the stands by Sunday for the grand finals. Fans tracking the daily bracket paths and pool assignments should keep the official event hubs open all weekend to monitor the upsets.
The Eight-Game Main Stage Lineup
The tournament features a wild mix of established hits and fresh releases. Street Fighter 6 and Tekken 8 anchor the entire event, drawing the absolute largest international talent pools. Fresh challengers shake up the traditional schedule right now. Riot Games brings 2XKO to the European stage, testing exactly how top competitors handle the fast tag-team format. SNK delivers Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves just as the title picks up serious competitive momentum.
Adding MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls and Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game proves organizers want to push the competitive scene forward. We see a direct shift away from relying strictly on older legacy games to testing unproven fighting ecosystems. Players locking in their brackets fight for massive prize pools and global ranking points. You can analyze the historical tournament data on the Liquipedia Evo France database to see exactly who dominated the inaugural event last year.

Preparing for the Arena Finals
Surviving the three-day gauntlet requires intense physical stamina. Competitors play best-of-three sets until reaching the top eight. The format then stretches into exhausting best-of-five showdowns. The deafening noise of the French crowd easily breaks unprepared rookies. The fighters who adapt their defensive reads on the fly win the trophies. The first matches start early Friday morning, setting the stage for an unforgettable weekend in Nice. Our recent fighting game tournament coverage tracked the global regional qualifiers leading directly to this massive weekend. We expect absolute chaos in the bracket pools from day one.
